  1. Huge break thru race Ariana. To top it off you ran a 2 minute negative split. There is more in that tank of yours. Next goal>>>sub 2:35 at the trials. Don’t ever underestimate the power of the mighty buffaloe. Celebrate, you deserve it. Pretty good take on the prize money side as well. Good luck in the future.

  4. I know you were hoping for and are capable of better, but the PR is a good sign! Driving the course would have been good and you definitely have the right perspective about everything else. I have just one question though–under your PR’s, it says 2:37…29…what’s up with that??? :>)

    You are so inspirational! I first heard about you when you were my best friend’s son’s teacher in Arizona (he is now in 5th grade!). I am a marathoner as well and hoping to break the three hour mark (PR is 3:03 from two years ago- injury sidelined me for a while, but I am back). Any advice on how to make that breakthrough as I prepare for Napa? Would love to hear how you took your running to the next level. Thanks!

  8. I just found your blog and am so Inspired and excited to follow along – I just hit my big goal of breaking 3 hours, with a 2:57:57 and am fired up to step up the training this year!! Congrats on all of your achievements, hopefully I can learn some tips from reading about your running and racing:) I can dream of being so speedy!
