You Can Call Me Al.

heehee, we are so watching that video right now. Love it. How funny is this, seriously?

Matt and I arrived in California yesterday (Wednesday) late morning. We promptly stopped at a Barnes and Noble. Susan Loken shared with me that before each race she re-reads Running Within, and I knew it would be a perfect read while sitting on the beach!  It turned out that I had read this before PF Changs when I borrowed it from Coach. But….  a little reminding never hurts! I really do love the book and find it very helpful to a worrywart like myself.  🙂

Anywho, gosh, I sure do love it here. I was running on Coronado and (this sounds super cheese) I was just thanking God for the beautiful day, the ability to run, and for the beautiful weather. I am so thankful to have my favorite brother and my favorite sister (ok, my ONLY brother  and sister) who let us stay at their home in South Park (heh, heh) anytime we want. Bomb.

I also realized that if we ever move to CA, I need to find a new hairstyle. With the humidity, my new short do is a frizzball!

I leave you with…

If you’ll be my bodyguard
I can be your long lost pal
I can call you Betty
And Betty when you call me
You can call me Al
Call me Al
